But the scientist wants a one-night stand with Scully before he hands over the taped conversation and secrets. Mulder is torn between his obsession with his sister and his new love for Scully.

Story-line 2: Scully and Mulder join a right-wing, elitist cult as a willing couple to help with inter-species breeding experiments with a dying extra-terrestrial being. Scully and Mulder are in turmoil over whether to expose the senator.
