Theatre Festival Announces Performance Dates for Grygo’s “The Door to Home”

NEW YORK — Eugene Grygo’s short play, “The Door to
Home” is part of the Unchained Theatre Festival of The Variations Theatre
Group, Inc. (VTG), marking Grygo’s second time with the Unchained festival.
The cast consists of Jane Blass who will play the role
of Mae and Dan Shaked who has the role of Stephen. The director is Eric Mark
Olson, who is also the producing artistic director and founder of the Three Act
Theatre Company in New York.
The festival takes place from June 8 to 28 at the
Chain Theatre at 21-28 45th Road, Long Island City, NY 11101.

“The Door to Home” is part of Group A for short plays,
and will be performed on: Saturday, June 13, 4PM; Tuesday, June 16, 9PM; and
Friday, June 26, 9PM.
The festival is a competition and finalists will perform
as part of an awards ceremony on June 28.
Tickets will be $15 in advance, and $18 at the door.

Members of Actors Equity and other industry professionals will be admitted for
free to the festival.
In the 2013 Unchained Festival, Grygo’s short play “A
Session to Remember,” won Best Play, Best Actor and Best Actress and tied for
Audience Favorite.
