My fellow New Yorkers, WNET has recently informed me that “Keeping Up Appearances” is on hiatus from its programming line-up. In its place is another great show, “Doc Martin,” also from the U.K.

There is a slim chance that our Hyacinth will return in the fall, but it may take a Hyacinth-like effort to make it known that we want her back (as much as the good doctor) !!!

Dear Mr. Grygo,

Thank you for your email to Thirteen.  Thirteen has indeed removed KEEPING UP APPEARANCES from its lineup for the time being to make room for DOC MARTIN on Saturday evenings.  (The DOC MARTIN reruns will continue for several months leading up to its 8th season of new programs this fall.) 

KEEPING UP APPEARANCES will return to Thirteen, but we don’t yet know when that will happen.

Feel free to contact us in the fall to find out if airdates have been scheduled.
