THE
EVENT:
My play “Graduation” is part of a night of new short
plays presented via the Thespis Summerfest 2017 Festival.
SYNOPSIS:
Hello Friends! Please come to see “Graduation,” my play about a young journalist and his male roommate, a political activist, in 1983 who are sorting out their future together after college. However, their dream is threatened when one of them wants to become an impostor to advance his career. As we face another backlash against queer communities, we can learn from a look back at the 1980’s?
